Congratulations on the new house M&A!!!! After making 2 other offers outside of their ideal neighborhood, we found this sweet rambler tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac.
There were three offers on this house. One of which, was was made by an investor who had offered the sellers better terms than ours.
I had the opportunity to meet the seller and learned that this was his childhood home. His mother had passed away 6 months before and he was very emotionally attached to the home. Although we were limited on price and a couple of terms, we were able to think outside the box and make the offer appeal to what was most important to the sellers. A quick and easy move, a sense of closure, the satisfaction of knowing who was moving in and what the plans were for the house.
M, A and the kids were able to stay within their school district, have a huge, private yard with lots of trees, and find a house with a layout that will be perfect for them.
I can't wait to see what they do with this sweet home!
